Alright, since Sumote has made the 'Fronteir Wars', I've made a little companion to it. The item shop is where the shopkeeper (me) will sell items that can affect a battle. This does NOT mean that items will be turned on in-game.
Since Sumote said he'll think about it if I provide him a decent item list (I think that means yes but he's too lazy to do extra work,) I've created one. I think it's decent so far, but if anyone has any suggestions or complaints, feel free to post and tell me.
I'm going to post the the items I have so far and their descriptions here. Prices will not be posted, but an estimation will.
------------------
1. Your team earns money for winning territory, however if you lose, you only earn a fraction of the amount you would normally earn.
2. I post items up for sale and list a price. New items may come on sale, so you may want to save your earnings.
3. You (as a team) must decide how to spend your earnings on which items, but keep in mind each team may only have a maximum of 7 items
[Max number of items may change]
4. I will randomly announce a stage, and if it's in your territory you may challenge me. Depending on how bad you beat me, I'll give you a discount. The stage I announce must be the one that the challenger plays me on.
*If they accidentally pick random and the stage is set to something I didn't call out, I will quit the match and move on to different territory. You may still buy items, but discounts are not available.
5. To use an item, you must post in this thread. Before you can use it, the other team, Sumote and I must recieve notice of you using it.
You are allowed to sell items back to me, however you must wait until I am in one of your territories. You must play one single four-stock match with me, and depending on how well you play I will offer more.
(Will only go up to 80% of the original prices)
* An item is required to sell back to me, duh.
You may trade items with other teams (see 'Trade License' under the neutral section for details)
--------------
Requirements = Earnings
Default = $1000
*Win Territory matches perfectly = $800
Win Territory matches = $600
Lose Territory matches = $400
* This means you must win two matches in a row while battling for territory. This does not mean winning two territories in a row
-------------
Item List
-------------
Alright, take note that some of the items here are only ideas. If you have any suggestions, aim me/post in the thread and I'll take it into consideration.
So far, the item list is as follows;
Invade and Defense
Available for use in any Invade or Defense match
- Time Bomb
Effect: Turns the match into a stock timed. If used, the timer must be set to one minute, but it still must be a 4-stock.
- Steroids
Effect: Allows you two actions in one turn
Example: Gigi wishes to invade Lylat Cruise, but someone is already invading him. If he uses steroids, he is able to still intercept his attack but also allowed to attack his target territory.
Invade Type
Only useable while Invading
- Battleship
Effect: Forces the territory you're invading into neutral status, but you must choose a member from another team to bring along to help pilot the ship. This allows you to choose a person from another team to fight for territory that isn't under the pilot and passenger's control.
- Cannon
Effect: Allows you to automatically win 1 out of 3 matches. Only one cannon is allowed for use per invasion.
Example: PlayerA is invading PlayerB. The two fight, and for the first match, PlayerA wins. He can then choose to use his cannon, which will give him the second match and secure him a win.
- Nuke
Effect: Forces the target territory into neutral status. A team must have over half the total territories in order to take it under control.
(Note: You may only use a Nuke if there are one or no neutral territories. If there are two neutral territories, the Nuke is not available for use)
Defense Type
Only for use if the user is being invaded
- Shield
Effect: allows you to prevent one team from invading you for one turn. This sets the match status as a tie, but puts the members in recovering status.
- Neutralizer
Effect: Allows you to block one item used on your team
Neutral Type
- Trading License
Effect: Allows you to trade items with one team.
Example: TeamA has an item that is useless, and TeamB has an item they want. TeamA buys a trading license and must get a signature from the majority of TeamB to trade items. TeamB does not have to accept the trade.
(Note: the trading license will probably be one of the cheapest items, or one of the cheapest.)
- Time Machine
Effect: Allows you to turn back time, returning the territories to the original owners.
(Note: chances are that this will be the most expensive item and will require a donation from three teams. The number of teams required to donate may change)
------------------
So let me know what you think.
