Does anybody else play DDR on pad? If it's ITG, then I'm not really interested since there is no machine in my location.
Anyhow since my local DDR machine is pretty much crap. I'm going to grab myself a better home pad and get back into shape (lawl). Too bad the classic DDR games I own are too scratched to play. That means I'll be resorting to the crappy new ones.
ugh oh well, I guess there's always stepmania.

Haha wow I never even seen a DDR SN in real life. That's how poor my State is, Extreme is the latest version (thank god)
Although I miss the 3rd mix, that was my favorite arcade ver =[

IIDX, probably something that I'll never see in my life time x] Not even the biggest city in my state has one. Oh well, and btw I got my Cobalt Flux today yay Pretty neat, but I'm not of an expert at this game. I was pretty good awhile back but lost my training. Here's a score I got at the arcade (crappy pads x]) www.flashflashrevolution.com/images/uploads/Gray Fox1184711628Paranoia_AA.jpg[/img] ah the good days, well anyhow I hope to improve my game now that I have a better pad. Trust me, you don't want to see how my last one looks like..

Hah indeed, but I am still adjusting to it (very grippy O.o) I'll try to get some scores up and show how bad I am.
All the games before Extreme are ruined by scratches so can't play the classic songs =[

er L...it has been...since...1999 ish xD Guitar Freaks was in arcades wayy before Guitar Hero and it was the first to use the concept...the US just took the idea and patented it *i heard rock band is getting sued for doing the same thing xD* >_> same for Drummania but in a wayyyy worse scale...they just downgraded it and put popular songs >__> and for Guitar Freaks/Drummania...you can't deny 500+ songs xD though Guitar freaks only use 3 buttons and the lifting of the guitar *thats where US stole Star power* XD and no...there's some IIDX around...only like 14 ish in the US...most of them have IIDX12 and 13...some 14...my arcade is one of the VERY few to have IIDX15 and soon to be IIDX16 and don't get Mario mix...it's...just...horribly easy D: and L i told you that Guitar Freaks and Drummania also has the full 2nd ending of Death note yeah? XD yeah here www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBvFE29Ipso

If they have Home Made Kazoku or Music Hour by Porno Graffiti, I will kill just to play it. All I have is a GC, so Mario Mix will have to do. And didn't I tell you to me "Mr.L" or "Master" ( XD Jk)

Wow a friend of mine would love to go into detail if he saw this thread. Well yep there are IIDX machines here, the crappy easy versions compared to the original. Also Mario Mix? Haha, I'm not even going to say anything about that. Anyhow guess I'll show some scores I randomly got, I doubt I'll ever get a AAA on any song =[ - B4U [oni] - Drop the bombbehold my horrible camera x]

Yeah on expert and oni I have a good handful of AAA's. But I can never do it on the plastic pad. I can only do it in arcades. I have to go digging thru my old phone to find the pics haha but I should be able to. And my twin has a vid of me doing a Max run and AA'ing all 3 (Max 300, Maxx Unlimited, and the Legend of Max). I'll ask him to post it on youtube for me to put on here XD
So what's you're favorite song to play? Any version.

Practice practice practice bro. Also try not to lift your feet so much when playing. I see most people trying to lift their legs knee high for every step haha. I lift my feet maybe an inch off the mat. it makes your movements faster and makes it easier to keep a beat. Oh and Rhythm and Police ftw. that was my third AAA on expert still one of my all time favorites to do haha

AA'ing a song is all I'm good for, I can't have perfect timing. haha and most arcades I go to have abused pads so I prefer my home pad.
Though the only one I trust is in Albuquerque's coronado mall. I need to try their pump machine sometime.

Oh yeah in Tilt. That place produced some of the best DDR players in the nation lol. Robdog, Momo, Jay, etc. I was friends with Jay and Allan when they were the managers there so I always got to play for free SP but then they quit to move onto other jobs so no more free play for me

Haha yeah I've seen some really good players there a few years back. Although sad to say DDR isn't as popular as it once was =[
I remember seeing people crowed over the machine and placing their quarters all day. Oh but I do remember the time when they took my local machine to Albuquerque for this big tourney. When the machine came back, the high scores had new names x]
Most were Momo.
